Sometimes all you need to do is Believe!

Many believe that creating a life of prosperity, wealth and happiness lies from some secrets found in books, programs or perhaps a system. While each of these have great merit and can inch you along in the process, they are not the best place to start.

Unfortunately, the first step is often overlooked and simply glossed over in most people’s quest for the American Dream, yet it is guaranteed to get you the results you desire. This step is the first brick in your foundation and once firmly in place, will hold the key to everything you want in life.

So what is that magic bullet? It isn’t found in a book or with a guru, it is found within you!…Belief!

Belief is the real first step to greatness. Without it, you cannot become what you want to become. So what exactly is belief?

Believe is acceptance by the mind that something is true or real, often connected by an emotional or spiritual sense of certainty. Not to be confused with Hope, a wish to get or do something or have something be different.

Walt Disney, one of the most influential and innovated business leaders said, “I dream, I test my dreams against my beliefs, I dare to take risks and I execute my vision to make those dreams come true” Despite the companies highs and lows, Disney Corp is still one of the biggest powerhouses in the world, touching millions of people each year.

Steve Jobs said “Our belief was that if we kept putting great products in front of customers, they would continue to open their wallets” – Apple is one of the highest ranking revenue stores in our malls.

So to become or to have all that you want in life, all you need to do is believe.

But, it is not that easy is it?

Unfortunately, you cannot manufacture believe for any amount of time. It takes energy to uphold and it not something you can pretend. It has to be real. A belief is not merely and “idea” your mind possesses, it is an idea that possesses the mind.

Here are some crucial points to get to strong belief:

  1. Manage your fear
  2. Define your vision
  3. Remove the structure/form
  4. Understand the benefits or merits
  5. Take inventory of your moments
  6. Notice the gaps and identify them
  7. Define your focus
  8. Take action.
